[Abstract] Objective To investigate the value of ultrasound in detecting vascular endothelial function of diabetic with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation patients. Methods Diabetic patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation of 160 cases (observation group) and 160 healthy volunteers (control group) were used brachial artery ultrasound to assess their function. Results Compared with the control group, the FMD were significantly decreased in the observation group (P < 0.05), NTG-MD had no significant difference (P > 0.05), left atrial volume had significantly increased (P < 0.05.) The brachial artery diameter at baseline of the observation group was significantly greater than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The early non-invasive ultrasound technology evaluation diabetic endothelial function in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation have broad clinical application for guiding the clinical application of improved early treatment and can reduce paroxysmal atrial fibrillation mortality.
