脑水肿与通道蛋白4的关系及进展(3)

    AQP4蛋白对各种脑水肿的作用都非常重要,但目前人们对AQP4蛋白的作用还有一些争论,对部分脑水肿可以通过抑制和增强AQP4的表达来预防和治疗脑水肿,但由于人们对AQP4的表达和调节并没有完全了解,同时关于抑制和提高AQP4蛋白会引起细胞形态功能远期变化的研究也还较少,如何抑制和增强AQP4蛋白的表达及其与其他蛋白的相互作用等也需要进一步研究。另外,AQP4蛋白在水肿期是否是一种适应性表达、甘露醇、高渗盐水、白蛋白、糖皮质激素等脱水剂药物对脑内水平衡的影响因素与AQP4的关系如何、AQP4蛋白是否还有其他的功能等问题都需要进一步研究。

    总之,AQP4蛋白方面的研究可能会对预防和治疗脑水肿及脑水肿形成机制和变化的研究提供另一条有效的途径,同时可能会带来脑内其他研究的变革,如胶质瘤的迁移、浸润与AQP4的变化关系等,因此,对AQP4蛋白的研究还有很长的路要走。
