[Abstract] Objective To investigate the influence of TORCH series pathogen infection on pregnancy outcomes of pregnant women in middle and late pregnancy. Methods 846 cases of pregnant women in middle and late pregnancy in our hospital were selected from January 2006 to June 2010. TOX, RV, CMW, and HSV-Ⅱwere detected in the pregnant women. All pregnant women were grouped, on the basis of the detection results. 678 cases of pregnant women with TORCH series pathogene negative were divided into the control group. 168 cases of pregnant women with TORCH series pathogene positive were divided into the observation group. The pregnancy outcomes situation of the two groups were compared respectively. Results The premature rupture of membranes, puerperal disease, dead fetus, fetal distress, stillbirth, neonatal asphyxia, congenital malformation, adverse pregnancy ratio of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The premature rupture of membranes, puerperal disease, dead fetus, fetal distress, stillbirth, neonatal asphyxia, congenital malformation, adverse pregnancy ratio of the mixed infection group were significantly higher than those of the single infection group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion TORCH series pathogen infection will have adverse effects on pregnant women in middle and late pregnancy ......
