C-反应蛋白在牙周炎和终末期肾病相互联系中作用的研究(3)
综上所述，牙周炎可通过改变血清CRP的浓度，从而对机体产生一定的影响，而且牙周组织破坏越严重，这种影响就有可能愈加明显。同时ESRD和牙周炎的发病率及严重程度有一定的关系。因为牙周炎和ESRD患者血清CRP均升高，CRP可能成为两种疾病相互影响的中介物，在牙周炎和ESRD的相互关系中起着一定作用，其机制还有待于进一步研究。
