[摘要] 通过对1例牙龈瘤患者的病例资料及文献进行回顾分析，阐述规范化的牙周基础治疗联合手术切除牙龈瘤是治疗牙龈瘤并防止复发的有效手段，该病例治疗后慢性牙周炎基本控制，术区患牙均无明显松动，咀嚼功能良好，骨缺损区完全并无复发迹象，牙龈形态良好。阐明在牙龈瘤治疗过程中，彻底去除牙石、菌斑等局部刺激因素与牙龈瘤的治疗效果密切相关，患者自身的菌斑控制及牙周维护期的治疗更是防止牙龈瘤复发的关键。
