随着越来越多研究的进行，发现Rab27A及Rab27B与肿瘤的发展及侵袭转移有密切关系。只要研究明白Rab27A及Rab27B在肿瘤中发挥作用的分子机制，Rab27A及Rab27B就可以作为与肿瘤预后相关的分子标志物，从而指导临床诊断、治疗及预后评估。
