    The efficacy of immunoglobulin combined with dexamethasone in the treatment of acute Guillain-Barre syndrome

    [Abstract] Objective To investigate the efficacy of immunoglobulin combined with dexamethasone in the treatment of acute Guillain-Barre syndrome. Methods A total of 45 patients with acute Guillain-Barre syndrome admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to October 2020 were analyzed retrospectively，and they were divided into the immunoglobulin combined with dexamethasone group(n=23) and the single immunoglobulin group (n=22)， respectively. The therapeutic efficacy and clinical outcome of patients in the two groups were compared， respectively. Results The overall response rate in the immunoglobulin combined with dexamethasone group was significantly higher than that in the single immunoglobulin group ......
