Aβ的神经毒性作用在AD形成过程中起着重要作用，机制假说层出不穷，但由于其机制相当复杂，现在仍在完善阶段。目前的这些假说，还不能很好地指导临床对AD的诊治。因此，对Aβ的神经毒性作用机制做深入研究是治疗AD的前提；如何更好地完善神经毒性作用机制，更准确地应用于临床，是广大医务工作者的追求目标。
