本研究结果显示，间苯三酚组较山莨菪碱组达盲成功率高，但两组比较，差异无统计学意义；间苯三酚组较山莨菪碱组达盲时间短、疼痛耐受程度高，不良反应率明显降低，该研究结果与目前临床研究结果基本一致，说明间苯三酚在老年人结肠镜检查中应用安全、有效，值得临床推广应用。
