[摘要]目的 探究健康教育对改善老年痴呆患者吞咽障碍的影响。方法 采用随机抽样法选取2016年1月～2017年9月广州市老人院收治的40例老年痴呆合并吞咽障碍患者作为研究对象，所有患者均给予健康教育，观察健康教育6个月后患者的吞咽障碍分级、体重指数(BMI)。结果 患者护理后的吞咽障碍情况优于护理前，差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);患者护理后的平均BMI为(22.45±3.54)kg/m2，高于护理前的(20.69±2.28)kg/m2，差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 健康教育有助于改善老年痴呆症患者的吞咽障碍情况，应用价值较高，值得推荐。
