[Abstract] Objective: To explore the effects of Folic Acid on maternal and infant outcomes, urine protein in the body, and serum Hcy expression levels in patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy (HDCP). Method: The HDCP patients treated in this hospital were randomly divided into Folic Acid group (FO group), conventional treatment group (CT group), 60 cases in each; 120 normal pregnant women with normal physical examination in this hospital were selected as the healthy group (HE group). There was no statistically significant difference in general information of patients in CT group, FO group and HE group (P>0.05). By analyzing the differences in urine protein, serum Hcy expression level, mean arterial pressure, serum Cys-C expression level, and maternal and infant outcomes among the three groups of patients to explore the effects of Folic Acid on patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension. Result: After treatment, compared with the HE group, the expression of urine protein and mean arterial pressure in the CT group and the FO group were higher. Compared with the CT group, the expression of urine protein and other indicators in the FO group were lower (P<0.05). After treatment, compared with the HE group, the expression levels of Hcy and Cys-C in the CT group and the FO group were higher. Compared with the CT group, the expression levels of Hcy and Cys-C in the FO group were lower (P<0.05). Compared with the HE group, the patients in the CT group and the FO group had higher rates of adverse maternal and infant outcomes. Compared with the CT group, the patients in the FO group had lower rates of adverse pregnancy outcomes. There was a statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes among the three groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Folic Acid has a certain therapeutic effect on patients with HDCP. It can significantly improve Hcy, urine protein and other related indicators in the patients, and reduce the incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes.,
