【摘要】基层医院(本文指一级)数量多、规模小、遍布全国各地， 医疗市场广泛，担负着占全国人口80%的农牧民的医疗保健任务。为解决农牧民看病贵、看病难的问题，国家投入大量资金推广普及农村医疗保险，为广大农牧民带来福音。对基层医院实验室来说，既是机遇，也是挑战。其质量管理和能力水平就显得十分重要。本文作者对分布于全国15个省、市、自治区的446家基层医院的实验室质量管理进行了较为详细的调查，结果显示，基层医院实验室普遍存在实验环境条件差，自动化程度低，仪器规格小性能差价位低，工作人员资质较低，日处理样本量相对较少，室内质量管理不规范。
