摘要：缺血性中风是一种常见的脑血管疾病，该病的病因和发病机制复杂，西医治疗以抗血小板聚集、抗凝、降脂、稳定斑块、营养脑细胞为主，但治疗效果不佳。中医药治疗缺血性中风历史悠久，且具有简、便、廉、验的特点。小续命汤应用于临床历史悠久，且治疗缺血性中风有较好疗效。笔者将近10年小续命汤治疗缺血性中风的文献进行整理并综述，以期为小续命汤的研究和应用提供参考。
